Why Cardena?

We are a non-institutionally owned, client centric, fee for service boutique wealth management and advisory firm based in Martin Place, Sydney. We create a personalised wealth management strategy for each client, based on a detailed understanding of their specific situation, personal objectives and wealth accumulation aspirations. You gain access to advice, insights and experiences honed over many years of looking after the needs of private clients and family groups.

A partnership approach to building your success

Building a robust wealth management strategy aligned to your vision of success is a complex and highly personal process. We know this doesn’t happen overnight and evolves over time with changes in your personal and family circumstances. That’s why, at Cardena, our advisers are committed to building a long-term partnership with you. In addition to crafting your personal wealth management strategy we offer ongoing advice and regular strategy reviews to ensure that you remain motivated, goal-oriented, and on top of your affairs. Where you have an existing tax adviser or estate planning lawyer, we will work with them to ensure you receive a holistic wealth management solution from a trusted, professional team. Alternatively, we can refer you to these types of specialists if you wish.

Insight and innovation

Our advisers draw on a wide variety of skills from their professional backgrounds and qualifications in accounting, law and wealth management. As a client of Cardena, you benefit from the depth of specialist expertise across the entire team. Our advisers use their expertise to explore possibilities and deliver you with a wealth management roadmap underpinned by market-leading insights and knowledge.

Access to a network of strategic partners

As part of our commitment to putting our clients first, we have built a network of best-in-breed professionals and strategic partners to ensure our capability to offer market-leading technology and investment solutions to meet our clients’ needs. These strategic partners include estate planners, tax specialists, assets consultant and expert portfolio and investment managers, and providers of leading technology platforms to administer and report on your investments.

A dedicated managed account service overseen by an exeprienced Investment Committee

Our institutional-strength managed account service is overseen by an experienced investment committee made up of Cardena’s four Directors - Ray Djani, Jonathan Kilborn, Iain Reid and Tom McDonald - Andrew Connors of Quilla Asset Consulting, Glen Castenson of Fortnum Financial Advisers, and independent committee chair Brad Matthews. The committee has been responsible for adopting best practice standards akin to those you would expect to see in a large superannuation board.

A commitment to integrity

At Cardena, everything we do is reinforced by our commitment to integrity. As a fee-for-service boutique we are motivated by helping our clients achieve their investment aspirations and making recommendations which are in the client’s best interests. We have access to a very broad and diverse range of financial products that are independently approved by Fortnum, our Licensee. We are passionate, committed and professional, and everything we do is underpinned by a deep empathy and client partnership focus.
